Opening session 2020 at Teatre Zorrilla, Badalona
The registration period for short films wishing to compete in the official section of the 47th edition of the FILMETS Badalona Film Festival has now opened. The festival will take place between the 22nd and the 31st of October 2021. Short films of up to 30 minutes long in any of the following three genres can be screened at the festival: fiction, animation and documentary.
The deadline for registration is the 31st of May 2021.
The next edition of the FILMETS Badalona Film Festival will have a hybrid format. This means that all films in the Official Section of the competition will be available to view for free on the festival’s website (festivalfilmets.cat), and that we will screen as many films as possible during the audience-attended theatre sessions, which will be held in compliance with any public health restrictions in force at the time. We are currently working on the basis of holding at least one theatre screening per day on every day of the festival.
