The mayor of Sant Boi, Lluïsa Moret; to her right, the managing director of Badalona Comunicació, Josep Viñeta Balsells; and to her left, the councillor for culture of Sant Boi, José Manuel González.
The Can Castellet cinema in Sant Boi de Llobregat will be a venue of the FILMETS Badalona Film Festival, which this year reaches its 45th edition. The Can Castellet cinema’s screens will for the first time host a total of six sessions that will take place over several days during the festival, which will be held from 18 to 27 October.
The agreement between FILMETS and the Can Castellet cinema was made possible thanks to the interest of both the festival organisers and the cinema’s managers. The aim of this expansion is for the FILMETS Badalona Film Festival to attract new audiences beyond the viewers that will be attending the screenings in Badalona and Barcelona. For its part, the Can Castellet cinema is looking to increase its cultural offering and encourage Sant Boi to become a cultural centre in the Baix Llobregat area.
The presentation of the FILMETS festival in Sant Boi was attended by the mayor of the locality, Lluïsa Moret, the councillor for culture, José Manuel González and the managing director of Badalona Comunicació, Josep Viñeta Balsells.
