What kind of decisions determine their fate? What kind of unexpected setbacks can arise? Questions like these will be explored in one of the three FILMETS PRO sessions (21–23 October), which bring industry experts together with professionals and young creators.
The answers will be discussed in a round table featuring Sandra Forn (Films de l’Orient) and David Ciurana (Fosca Films), with Ed Antoja (La Diferència) as moderator. Beyond theories, they will talk about films they know inside out: Pájaros, El fred que crema and Casa Reynal.
Another “Pro” session will explore how audiovisual productions are adapting to new viewing habits shaped by social media and distribution platforms. Andrés Palomino (3cat) will examine current trends and discuss which practices should — and should not — be continued.
Meanwhile, Eduard Suñol will invite participants to explore the 3D universe, offering tools, skills and approaches to navigate it. His experience on projects such as Heidi, The Little Mermaid and Dragon Age, among others, speaks for itself.
