isonaISONA PASSOLA (Catalonia)

Born in Barcelona in 1951, she has a bachelor degree in Modern History. She is a producer, screenwriter and film director. As a founder of Massa d’Or Productions, she has produced documentaries and TV movies, such as: El mar (1999), Mirant el Cel (2008) y Pa negre (2010). She is the president of the International Association of Independent Producers of the Mediterranean (APIMED), headquartered in Barcelona. She is one of the board members of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. She has participated, mainly as a producder, in films such as: Despertaferro, Les gens d’en face, Mensaka, El pianista, El mar, Germanes de sang, Mucha sangre, De nens, Mirant el cel, Catalunya-Espanya, Pa negre, L’endemà and Per on passa el futur. She teaches screenwriting at the School of Communication Sciences of Blanquerna-Universitat Ramon Llull. She is a member of the Catalonia’s Consell Nacional de la Cultura i les Arts (2012) and the president of the Academy of Catalan Cinema (2013). She holds the honorary awards Lluís Carulla (2011) and the Cross of Sant Jordi (2012).

antoineANTOINE LÓPEZ (France)

Born in 1951 in Tassin, a small Algerian village. He studied Physics, Chemistry and Art History. Co-founder and co-organiser of the International Short Film Festival of Clermont-Ferrand from 1979 to 2013. In the cinema field, he has directed the films: Rodolfo Traviata, le film (1981); Traverses (1985), selected in up to 40 film festivals, issued by Canal+ and Arte. Traverses was selected for the international retrospective 40 Years of French Animation, organised by Annecy Film Festival and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Lieux communs (2002). In the field of graphic arts, he works together with his wife, Isabelle. They create illustrations and cultural posters signed under the pseudonym Bologo, such as the festival posters for the International Film Festival of Clermont-Ferand 2000, Sienne 2005, Curtocircuito 2009 or Valence (France) 2016. As an expert in animation films, he holds lectures on animation techniques as well as on animated documentaries. Besides, he takes part in reading committees of scripts and is an artistic advisor for festivals and institutions (Cesar’s committee on animation short films) and on events about animation films (Valence, Fontevraud).

erikoERIKO TAKEDA (Japan)

She studied Literature and Cinematography at the university Sacré-Cœur in Japan, where she got her Bachelor degree.  At the same time, she took theatre lessons in Yokohama and Tokyo. During the French Film Festival of Yokohama she met with producer Gilles Sandoz and it was thanks to him that she decided to go to France and become an actress. Since 2007, she took part in TV series such as Venus et Apollon, as well as a number of short films. In 2010, she made her first appearance in a feature film, Crédit pour tous, by Jean-Pierre Mocky, together with Dominique Pinon, Refus and Arielle Dombasle. In 2011, she had the chance to appear together with Gérad Depardieu in the film by Slony Sow Grenouille d’hiver, where she got two awards: the Best Actress Award in the Flyway Film Festival (USA), and the Best Supporting Actress in the Monaco Angel Film Awards. This film was part of the official selection in Cannes Film Festival and also received the Audience’s award in Filmets Film Festival. After acting in several short films, in 2014 she played a part in Michel Gondry’s last film, Microbe et Gasoil. And for the first time, she played the leading role in the film by Slony Sow Parisiennes, the best film in Reno Tahoe International Film Festival.

danielDANIEL HORVATH (Russia / Hungary)

Actor trained in the Larry Moss Studio in Los Angeles, the Nancy Tuñón i Jordi Oliver Acting Academy of Barcelona, and with studies of interpretation in Italy with Baz Luhrmann and Paul Haggis. He participated in the TV series La Riera (TV3), Aida (Telecinco), Toma y cero y a jugar (ToroTv-Telecinco), Boom (Malta Tv) and All We Are Here (Malta TV). In cinema, he took part in the feature films: Proyecto Lázaro, by Mateo Gil and Kamikaze, by Alex Pina, as well as short films such as: Encounter with a Mirror, Washaki y el chico de las manos mojadas, Hamlet, Jimmy Karont Section 8, The Devil’s Advocate, The Bill Calls All Doors, Gift, Unstable, Magic Powder and En el nom d’una morta. As for his advertising career, he has appeared in spots such as: Findus, Finland; Head & Shoulders with Lionel Messi, Grefusa Natuchips, Edreams, Volkswagen, Diesel fragrance (USA), and Chiesi – Juice Anion, Finland. He is currently working in the shooting of new episodes for the Spanish series Perdiendo el Norte, Antena 3.

montseMONTSERRAT GUIU (Catalonia)

In 1989 she graduates in Geography and History (UB), specializing in Art History. From 1992 to 93 she studies Film Preservation and Restoration at GHG-IMP and RIT (USA) and in 1997 at the Spanish Film Archives. In 1995 and 1997 she organizes two seminars about Film Heritage and Restoration at UB. Between 1998 and 2002 she directs the Native American Film and Video Festival taken place at the CCCB. In 2004, she joins the Festival Internacional de Cine de Huesca as programmer and ends up directing two editions. In 2005 she coordinates the production of Who Killed Walter Benjamin by David Maua. Since 2006 she coordinates juries at the International Film Festival in Morelia (Mexico). She is member of SLOWCUrT AC, and since March 2015 she coordinates Barcelona Film Commission (BFC).
